Santa Claus is holding a baby seal while traveling on the back of an orca whale. This Russian Santa Claus figure is hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and then signed by the artist.
